Interviewer: Things have made it clear that they’re not going to hold back at all…
Daniel: No, why should they? I wouldn’t be back if I wasn’t 100% so.. They’re going to expect the same from me, to be 100%. So, I think that’s kind of a stupid question.

Daniel Sedin gives zero fucks.

And Henrik feels exactly the same.

Non-sign II is an installation by seattle based art collective Lead Pencil Studio located at the Canada-US border near Vancouver. The sculpture is made from small stainless steel rods that are assembled together to create the negative space of a billboard. While most billboards draw attention away from the landscape, Non-sign II frames the landscape, focusing attention back on it.

I see that thing all the time on the way to Bellingham.

Salty and sweet.  Crunchy and melt-in-your-mouth.   Peanut butter and chocolate.  Dangerous and delicious (you know what I mean).  One little bite, so much to experience.  Why did I wait so long to give these a try??  A perfect treat to share with a large group of people that you love a whole lot, or to share with yourself on a self-indulgent sweats and sofa  sorta day.  Yum and yum.
Peanut Butter Pretzel Bites
Yield 60 – 80 pretzel bites
Ingredients
1 cup creamy peanut butter
2 tbsp softened butter
1/2 cup powdered sugar (maybe more)
3/4 cup brown sugar (maybe more)
Pretzels
1 bag  semi-sweet chocolate chips
Directions
Combine peanut butter and softened butter in a large bowl with a fork or whisk, or in a stand mixer.  Add the sugars and mix to combine.  At this point if the filling will roll easily into balls without sticking to your hands you’re ready to go.  If not, add a little more of each sugar until you reach a consistency that is easy to roll (I used about 3/4 cup of each sugar).
Use a teaspoon measure to scoop the filling.  Roll each portion into a small ball, then sandwich them between two whole pretzels.  When all the balls are rolled and successfully sandwiched, stick the whole tray in the freezer for about half an hour.
Pour the chocolate chips into a microwave safe bowl and heat at 30-second intervals, stirring occasionally until completely melted.  Remove the pretzel sandwiches from the freezer and quickly dip each half-way into the melted chocolate.  Return to the tray and repeat with remaining sandwiches.  When all are dipped, return the tray to the freezer to set up completely.  Store the sandwiches in the refrigerator until serving time.

How to deal with an oncoming job termination. Part 2

So, its been a few days, and this door has definitely closed on me. But you know what they say about closed doors, windows open. Well a fucking drawbridge just dropped itself in front of me. Two of them actually. One is to go work not in the food industry, the other is to run a bakery that my parents are planning on buying. And a few people from my past has come into contact with me to talk to them about work. So the opportunities are endless, its just picking the right one to suite my needs now and in the future.

How to deal with an oncoming job termination?

How the fuck should I know? I’ve never been told “We sold the restaurant, you may be out of a job.” K Thanks! Now what?? This is going to be a big shit show if I don’t find another job soon. I don’t want to have to work 2 jobs again… I don’t want to look for another job. I like what I do, probably because I’m one of the bosses. FUCK THIS SHIT! Grr… I will be keeping you all (my 9 followers) informed in the next coming days of what’s going on with this FUBAR situation. Good night.

Body = tired as hell. 6 days straight in that kitchen can take quite a toll on your body. Especially when you’ve been doing this for the past 5 years.
